Children’s hospital of Central California has been serving residents from
Bakersfield to Sacramento since 1952. Children's is a 255-bed pediatric medical center centered on a
beautiful 50-acre campus located on the bluffs of the San Joaquin River. It is the 13th
largest free-standing children’s hospital in the nation and the only one located in a rural area.
