University of California, San Diego Medical Center
HHS is pleased to announce the addition of The University of California, San Diego Healthcare to our growing list of California customers. UCSD Healthcare consists of one hospital on two campuses: The 386 bed Hillcrest campus located in San Diego, and the 119 bed Thornton campus located in La Jolla. This Friday, September 28th, both of these facilities will begin utilizing our management expertise to help run the EVS department on both campuses.

UCSD Medical Center, Hillcrest Campus, the primary campus for the UCSD School of Medicine, has been operated by UCSD since 1966 and was purchased by UCSD in 1981. Hillcrest offers a variety of both primary and specialized services including surgery, neurology, oncology, a regional burn center, birth center, and houses the county's only Level I Trauma Center.

The Thornton Campus of UCSD Medical Center opened in 1993 and is a general medical-surgical facility. Thornton offers a full range of services including Cardiology, Orthopedics, and Pulmonary Medicine, to name a few.

HHS is very excited to begin, what we hope will be, a long-lasting relationship with the University of California San Diego Healthcare.
