HHS Joins the Baptist Health System - Birmingham Family

Shelby Baptist Medical Center is a 210-bed, acute care facility and is a part of Baptist Health System, which has been in operation for over 80 years. The system operates 4 other not-for-profit hospitals in Alabama as well as 9 Senior Housing Facilities throughout the state.
Shelby Baptist Medical Center offers the only open heart surgery service in Shelby County and also treated over 40,000 Emergency room cases last year making them the second busiest Emergency Room in the Birmingham Area.
HHS is very excited to be part of the Shelby Baptist family and looks forward to a long-lasting partnership. With the addition of Shelby Baptist, HHS now provides our industry expertise to 7 hospitals in the state of Alabama, which total over 1750 licensed beds and over 2.5 million cleanable square feet.
