In 2008, Ed Banos was named the CEO of the 425-bed Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview and shortly thereafter he asked HHS to assess whether we could assist him with upgrading the cleaning results being produced at his new hospital. After a thorough site evaluation, and a brief time overseeing the cleaning for the Wellness Center, HHS was chosen to be the EVS provider for the main campus.
Founded in 1935 as a 47-bed hospital, Good Shepherd Medical Center has grown into a Level II trauma center that offers a wide range of services, including Neurosurgery, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Cardiology, to name a few. In addition to the hospital, HHS will also be responsible for the cleaning of the Good Shepherd Institute for Healthy Living, a 75,000 square foot state-of-the-art fitness facility. In addition to the fitness facility, the Institute for Healthy Living also offers a full-service day spa, walking trails, a pro shop and The Healthy Living Café as well.
HHS would like to extend our utmost gratitude and thanks to Mr. Banos for his continued partnerships throughout the years, both in Texas and Florida.
