Vice President, Learning, Talent Development, and Operations
German Marroquin joined the HHS team with more than 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, where he worked in hotel operations as well as training and development for major luxury, midscale, and economy hotel brands. There he developed course curriculums for executive, management, and team member professional development learning programs while also focusing on team building and strategic planning. In his role as Vice President of Learning, Talent Development, and Operations with HHS, Marroquin is using his extensive industry knowledge to establish the talent development programs for resort and hospitality team members, ranging from hourly team members to executives. He holds a master trainer certification from Marriott International, a 360° Assessment certification from the Center for Creative Leadership, a Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation™ (FIRO®) Assessment certification from the Association for Talent Development (ADT), and is a member of the ADT. Marroquin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Santiago de Cali University in Colombia, and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management from the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management in Cali, Colombia.
