In Springdale, Arkansas, a member of the HHS EVS team received recognition from hospital leadership for their efforts to provide excellent service for all patients, staff, and visitors. PM Supervisor Dewayne Schanke was named as non-clinical employee of the month for June.
Dewayne was nominated for going above and beyond to support other departments in his facility. He was rounding when he found that the pharmacy had a room full of boxes that needed to be broken down. Rather than leaving it for someone else and continuing on his way, he took it upon himself to quickly unpack the contents of the boxes and breakdown the cardboard. The pharmacy department thanked him for his quick action and support.
