Scott Alexander has officially been named as HHS Chief Operating Officer of the Healthcare Division, effective March 12, 2021. As COO, Alexander will provide operational leadership and direction to EVS, transport, laundry, and linen service lines within the division.

HHS CEO Bobby Floyd said of the announcement, “There is nothing more important to HHS than providing high-quality service to our customers and supporting our people. This move will bolster our efforts in accomplishing those goals.”

Alexander began his career with HHS as a floor cleaning technician at a partner facility more than 30 years ago. Since then, he has served in nearly every operational capacity and brings extensive knowledge of HHS’ systems and business to his new role. Prior to his career at HHS, Alexander earned his degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University.

When asked the importance of his new role, he states, “I have over ten thousand people’s livelihoods placed in my care. This is a huge responsibility that I take seriously and do so with great pride. I make sure to never lose sight of the fact that it is through the good deeds of those I serve that someone thought of offering me my current role. My sincerest gratitude for all of their hard work, and I look forward to great things to come.”

Alexander’s goal and vision for this role is “to create a highly energized and inclusive work environment that challenges people to be the best form of themselves they can be.”
