Dripping Springs, TX (July 2025)—HHS, LLC, a leader in hospitality support services, has announced a strategic partnership with Transformed Culinary Solutions (TCS), a chef-led culinary agency, to revolutionize what food and nutrition services can mean in healthcare and senior living settings.

The collaboration combines HHS' 50 years of operational strength and people-first culture with TCS' culinary innovation, guided by President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Chef Darin Leonardson and celebrity chef Stephan C. Baity, Food Network alum and Chief Culinary Officer (CCO) at TCS.

Together, they aim to deliver a nutritious, flavor-forward vision for healthcare dining at scale, while eliminating the stigma surrounding food service in these environments. By enhancing the dining experience, they seek to reshape perceptions of food services in healthcare and senior living, ultimately improving residents' quality of life.

Setting a New Standard in Healthcare Hospitality

This partnership raises the bar for food service in healthcare by bringing restaurant-quality meals that enhance guest and resident satisfaction while preserving the reliability, compliance, and operational excellence that healthcare environments require. HHS and TCS are committed to excellence and humanity in hospitality while serving our guests in cafes, patient rooms, and providing fresh options in grab & go spaces for long nights or early mornings.

"Hospitality is care," Amanda May-Smith, President of Culinary & Nutrition Solutions at HHS, said. "By combining the talent of our people and the strength of our systems with the creativity of celebrity chefs, we're setting a new standard. Dining in hospitals and senior living communities should be an experience, not an obligation. We're bringing purpose, passion, and pride back to the plate."

What's Rolling Out Nationwide

  • Chef-led culinary council trainings and leadership pipelines
  • Farm-to-fork programs that prioritize local sourcing and flavor with purpose
  • Storytelling campaigns featuring chefs, team members, and guests
  • Digital storytelling education, including a phased rollout of tools such as MetaGlasses and DJI Osmo gimbals
  • Integration of Pop's Secret Seasoning, a low-sodium spice line created by Chef Stephan C. Baity

"Every dish tells a story. And through this partnership, we're giving chefs and teams the tools, confidence, and platform to be storytellers, not just servers," said Baity. "This is personal, this is powerful, and this is just the beginning."

Greenville: Where It All Shifted

Greenville, South Carolina, wasn't just a pilot—it was the pivot. A catalytic moment when HHS and TCS came together in real time to capture the essence of their shared vision: that food in patient communities can be powerful, purposeful, and deeply personal.

The team focused on capturing content across multiple healthcare sites, spotlighting the stories, meals, and people already bringing excellence to the table. Through behind-the-scenes culinary moments and thoughtful media strategy, the team created a framework to help guide future storytelling and national rollout.

The experience culminated in an intimate dinner at White Wine and Butter, a restaurant nestled beside a local golf course. Chef Michael Siebert, owner of White Wine and Butter, collaborated with Baity to create a thoughtful and elevated meal that embodied the heart of the partnership. Their shared culinary vision brought together HHS and TCS leadership for a soulful showcase of what care-driven cuisine can look and feel like when nourishment, hospitality, and narrative align.

"Greenville became the moment of clarity," said Darin Leonardson, CEO of TCS. "It showed us that when you pour into people, the impact multiplies. With HHS, we're turning kitchens into platforms for leadership, dignity, and change."

Derek Kissos, Chief Growth Officer (CGO) at HHS, reflected, "If we could replicate this experience across our hospitals, we'd win everywhere."

That night on the golf course wasn't just a dinner; it was a glimpse into a more connected, creative, and compassionate future for healthcare dining.

Why This Moment Matters

In an industry shaped by systems and compliance, this partnership brings back the heart. It humanizes healthcare dining through chef development, emotional connection, and community engagement, all while maintaining the operational integrity HHS is known for.

"This partnership represents a defining moment in how we grow, not just as a company, but as a culture," said Kissos, CGO at HHS. "It's about scale with soul. We're aligning with partners who share our belief that hospitality is care, and that every plate is an opportunity to lead with purpose, not just process."

"We're creating an approach that blends strategic growth with everyday impact," said Jonathan Beveridge, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at HHS.

From Local Farms to National Tables

HHS has long embraced seasonal menus and local ingredients, and with TCS onboard, that philosophy now expands into digital storytelling, chef training, and values-based branding, ensuring that every plate served is also a message delivered.

Meals are becoming messages. Kitchens are becoming classrooms. And healthcare hospitality is being transformed into something flavorful, memorable, and healing.
