In 2017, HHS Culinary’s proprietary food management system, Breadbox, officially entered into the beta testing phase and is expected to roll out across all accounts in the first quarter of 2018. To reduce the amount of food that ends up in landfills, HHS has developed Waste-a-Weigh, which monitors and measures all food that goes to the trash. Waste-a-Weigh is in the beta testing phase and is expected to roll out within the 2018 fiscal year.

HHS continues to expand its culinary efforts by now serving the healthcare, senior living, and hospitality industry. In 2017, to better engage customers at home, HHS developed the new Living Well section of the website to share chef-created recipes, how-to cooking videos, nutritional information, and general kitchen tips to promote healthy eating habits.
