HHS Culinary Team Awarded Best Entree at Local Competition

HHS is proud to announce that our culinary team at Baton Rouge General Medical Center received the Best Entree Award at the Bite & Booze Cooking Competition at the 35th Annual Capital Chefs’ Showcase in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  This is the second year in a row that the culinary team at Baton Rouge General received an honor for their cuisine. In 2016 they were awarded Best in Show during the competition.

Capital Chefs’ Showcase included cuisine from over 40 of the community’s finest restaurants, chefs, and caterers in the area.  HHS’ Baton Rouge General Medical Center culinary team are honored to be among the winners along with Red Stick Spice, Unique Cuisine Catering, and Wanda and Phil Calkins Catering.

Capital Chefs’ Showcase is a fundraising event that is held to help support area nonprofit, Cancer Services, an independent nonprofit that serves the tangible needs of people living with cancer in Greater Baton Rouge.
