Modern Healthcare Names HHS One of “Healthcare’s Hottest” Companies

Hospital Housekeeping Systems (HHS) has been recognized as one of the 40 fastest-growing companies in healthcare, and has been named to Modern Healthcare’s inaugural list of ‘Healthcare’s Hottest.’

Modern Healthcare‘s ‘Healthcare’s Hottest’ program recognizes the fastest growing healthcare companies and organizations that are headquartered in the U.S., that have at least $20M in revenue for 2011, and that have been in business for five years or more.

“Being named to Modern Healthcare’s list of ‘Healthcare’s Hottest’ for 2012 demonstrates HHS’s ability to increase their financial health despite the economic downturn and tepid recovery,” said Fawn Lopez, Vice President and Publisher of Modern Healthcare.

Founded in 1975, Hospital Housekeeping Systems (HHS) is the largest privately-held support service company in the healthcare industry. HHS provides industry-leading housekeeping management services, food and nutrition services, patient transportation services, sustainability and waste management initiatives, linen management, and automated technology resources exclusively to acute-care facilities.  Currently it partners with more than 200 acute-care hospitals in 23 states.

“We have worked tirelessly over the past 37 years to build a reputation as the best in the industry, and to grow our company, one satisfied customer at a time,” says CEO Ryan Williams.

“As financial burdens weigh more heavily on healthcare providers with each passing year, our extensive experience in the healthcare market—coupled with our innovative approach to providing efficient, effective hospitality and support services management—has allowed us to stay ahead of the game, and to continue to grow our business without sacrificing the accountability and results that we demand from our team members,” he adds.

HHS and the rest of Modern Healthcare’s ‘Healthcare’s Hottest’ winners were ranked and profiled in the September 2012 issue.

The 2012 ‘Healthcare’s Hottest’ program identified the 40 fastest growing companies in the following sectors:

  • Hospitals/hospital systems
  • Physician group practices
  • Payers/insurers
  • Suppliers
