DFW HHS Aviation Team Earns Three Straight Perfect Delta Scores

The HHS Aviation team at Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport has a lot to celebrate: they’ve earned a perfect 5.0 Delta scorecard for the third month in a row. This scorecard reflects how well the team meets Delta’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and overall performance—key indicators of a smooth, reliable operation. Achieving a perfect score once is impressive; doing it three times in a row shows a team that is consistent, disciplined, and deeply committed to quality.

Leadership and Inclusion Fuel the Team’s Success

Aviation Director David Beavers credits strong leadership and an inclusive environment for the team’s continued high performance.

“The key has been the engagement and focus of our local leadership team in the operation, and making everyone feel part of something special,” he shared.“We provide clear goals and roles, foster an environment where all team members can be heard and grow, and use regular briefings for questions, feedback, and accountability.”

Keeping Everyone Aligned—Every Day

Daily briefings help the team stay on the same page. These short meetings track progress, highlight any needs, and recognize great work happening across the operation. A culture of appreciation is woven into the day-to-day—small acknowledgments that build confidence and keep the team motivated.

“Leading and motivating our team day in and day out involves clear communication, empowerment, continuous development, and genuine appreciation,” Beavers said. “We talk about our vision, set goals, and celebrate progress. A simple thank you goes a long way.”

A Culture That Sets HHS Apart

The team’s results reflect a culture that values people. Clear expectations, steady support, and a shared sense of purpose help every team member understand how their work contributes to the operation’s success. “Everyone should know they’re not just part of the team—they’re part of a successful division within an organization that invests in its people and operations,” Beavers said.
