Senior Living Team Helps Patient's Family Celebrate Birthday

At a skilled nursing facility in Round Rock, Texas, there was a patient in the ICU who was very ill and unable to eat. The family of the patient was very dedicated to her care, barely leaving her side. When HHS team members Courtney Tanksley, April Scarver, and Megan Thomas learned that the patient’s birthday was arriving, they jumped into action, preparing cupcakes for the patient’s entire family.

Clinical Nutrition Manager Nicole Kahl was so impressed by the team’s care, saying that “this small gesture brightened the family’s day and entire week.”
