Dominican Village Partners with HHS for Dining Services

DV FrontDominican Village, a not-for-profit independent and assisted living community, recently selected HHS as its dining services provider. Under the partnership, HHS will provide a customized culinary program that reflects the community’s vision and desire to provide an upscale, tailored dining experience for its residents.

Founded by the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville, New York, Dominican Village had been seeking a flexible partner to enhance food quality, provide clinical nutrition support, and improve the dining experience for its 160+ residents. They selected HHS based on the company’s extensive experience in culinary operations and its innovative, food-forward approach to nutrition.

As Dominican Village’s strategic dining services partner, HHS will implement the following:

  • A tailored food services program based on a philosophy of providing only fresh, unprocessed ingredients that are locally sourced

  • Chef-created menu options that reflect the local region and seasons

  • A nutritional support team dedicated to ensuring the nutritional well-being and satisfaction of the residents

  • Unique programs like “Puree with a Passion” that support the individual needs of the Dominican Village residents

“HHS is committed to Dominican Village’s success and the health and well-being of each resident we serve in the community,” said Derek Kissos, HHS Chief Growth Officer. “We are proud to bring a customized culinary program that aligns with the community’s high standards and enables Dominican Village to focus on providing exceptional resident care while we focus on enhancing the dining experience.”
