Providing personal, one-on-one attention is an integral part of our patient ambassador program. At partner facility Providence Health, HHS patient ambassador Tay Davis went above and beyond to do just that.
On April 22, 2021, Tay was passing out breakfast trays when she came across a patient that seemed to be in distress. She immediately notified hospital staff that there might be an issue.
Soon after Tay informed staff, the patient became unresponsive and had to be CODED. Thankfully, due to Tay’s quick response, the patient received swift medical help, and their life was saved.
“She is an absolute blessing to our patients, department, and organization,” says Clinical Manager Jess Ferrin.
