When your hospital honors your team member, you know you've got the right person in the role.
The best leaders don't just manage a department. They become part of the fabric of a place, earning the trust of the people around them, one interaction at a time.
Rosalind Tate started with Fairview as a housekeeper. She learned the work from the ground up, built relationships across the facility, and grew into the kind of leader people want to follow. Today she serves as Director of Environmental Services at Fairview Woodwinds Hospital, and this May she was named the Dragonfly Award recipient, selected from among all hospital staff by her own colleagues.
The Dragonfly Award is nominated by the people who work alongside you every day. Earning it means Rosalind has built something real inside that hospital, genuine trust from the colleagues who know her best.

Her nominator said it best:
"Ros is constantly out and around the hospital helping her staff, checking in, and making sure the environment is safe and clean for guests. Her kindness and energy create a positive work environment that is still very effective, and it is noticed by everyone around her."

Rosalind's path reflects something we believe deeply: the best environmental services leaders aren't recruited from the outside. They're developed from within, given room to grow, and trusted with increasing responsibility over time. When that happens, they don't just do the job. They own it.
A safe, well-run facility starts with people like Rosalind, and with organizations committed to putting the right people in place and supporting them to thrive. We're proud she's on our team, and even prouder that Fairview Woodwinds took the time to say so.
Congratulations, Ros. This one is well earned.
