Chipotle-Lime Spice Mix

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon chipotle powder

¼ teaspoon smoked paprika

¼ teaspoon hot smoked paprika

1.5 teaspoons sea salt

Zest of 2 small limes

Add all ingredients to a small bowl and mix until combined.

Orange-Cinnamon Spice Mix

1 teaspoon cinnamon

⅛ teaspoon cumin

¼ teaspoon allspice

½ teaspoon sea salt

1 tablespoon orange zest

1 tablespoon brown sugar

Add all ingredients to a small bowl and mix until combined.

Season Your Own Popcorn:

Chipotle-Lime Popcorn

Popcorn

Juice of one lime

1 serving chipotle-lime spice mix

Sprinkle the lime juice over the popcorn and toss in the chipotle-lime spice mix until evenly distributed.

Orange-Vanilla-Cinnamon Popcorn

Popcorn

1 serving orange-cinnamon spice mix

½ teaspoon vanilla

Add the vanilla to the popcorn and toss in the orange-cinnamon spice mix until evenly distributed.

Make Your Own Trail Mix:

Chipotle-Lime Trail Mix

1 cup cashews

1 cup pepitas

½ cup sunflower seeds

½ cup pistachios

1 serving chipotle-lime spice mix

Juice of one lime

2 tablespoons grapeseed oil

Dried pineapple

Dried mango

Preheat oven to 375ºF. Add cashews, pepitas, sunflower seeds, and pistachios to a baking tray. Sprinkle the lime juice and chipotle-lime spice mix over the nuts. Drizzle grapeseed oil over the mixture. Mix until ingredients are evenly distributed. Bake for 15-18 minutes. Add mango and pineapple.

Orange-Cinnamon Trail Mix

1 cup cashews

1 cup pistachios

½ cup sunflower seeds

½ cup pecans

1 serving orange-cinnamon spice mix

2 tablespoon grapeseed oil

½ teaspoon vanilla

Raisins

Dried apples

Preheat oven to 375ºF. Add cashews, pecans, sunflower seeds, and pistachios to a baking tray. Add the vanilla and orange-cinnamon spice mix over the nuts. Drizzle grape-seed oil over the mixture. Mix until ingredients are evenly distributed. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Add raisins and dried apples.

Roast Your Own Chickpeas:

Chipotle-Lime Roasted Chickpeas

2 15-ounce cans chickpeas

1 serving chipotle-lime spice mix

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Preheat oven to 425ºF. Drain and rinse both cans of chickpeas. Spread the chickpeas over a baking tray, and dry them with a paper towel. Sprinkle the chipotle-lime spice mix over the chickpeas, then drizzle the olive oil on top. Roast the chickpeas in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes.

2 15-ounce cans chickpeas

1 serving orange cinnamon spice mix

½ teaspoon vanilla

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Preheat oven to 425ºF. Drain and rinse both cans of chickpeas. Spread the chickpeas over a baking tray, and dry them with a paper towel. Sprinkle the orange-cinnamon spice mix over the chickpeas, then drizzle the vanilla and olive oil on top. Roast the chickpeas in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes.

Make Your Own Dip:

Chipotle-Lime Hummus

1 15-ounce can chickpeas

2 cloves garlic

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon chipotle-lime spice mix

1 tablespoon tahini

Juice of 1 lemon

Add water, as needed

Drain and rinse  chickpeas. Add all ingredients to a small food processor. If the mixture is not processing quickly, add water as needed to soften it up.

Orange-Vanilla-Cinnamon Yogurt Dip

1 cup plain yogurt

Orange-cinnamon spice mix (to taste)

Strawberries

Apple slices

Add the orange cinnamon spice mix to the yogurt, to taste. Serve with strawberries and sliced apples.

Chipotle-lime spice mix (season to taste)
